Book Aqua Shard online at aquashard.co.uk or call 020 3011 1256. Aqua Shard is on level 31 of The Shard, 31 St Thomas Street, London SE1 9RY. Walk-ins are accepted subject to availability. Reservations open on a three-month rolling basis, and parties of 13 or more are booked through the events team at [email protected]. – Private dining rooms are also available for bookings from 6pax and onwards via Events team.

What is Aqua Shard like inside?

Aqua Shard is a contemporary British restaurant on level 31 of The Shard, with floor-to-ceiling windows giving panoramic views of Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and Canary Wharf. At its centre is a dramatic three-storey atrium bar. Every table looks out over the skyline, so window seats can’t be specifically requested.

Does Aqua Shard have a view, and what can you see from it?

Yes. Located on Level 31 of The Shard, Aqua Shard offers spectacular panoramic views across London, including Tower Bridge, the River Thames, St Paul’s Cathedral and the City skyline.

Is there a dress code at Aqua Shard?

The dress code is smart casual. Shorts, flip flops, vests, sports kit and sports shoes are not permitted in the restaurant or bar.

Can Aqua Shard cater for allergies and dietary requirements?

Yes. The kitchen caters for allergies and intolerances, with gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available. Let the team know of any requirements when you book or on arrival, and dishes will be adapted where possible. At present, we are not able to accommodate GF afternoon tea requests.

Where exactly is Aqua Shard and what's the nearest station?

The nearest station is London Bridge, a few minutes’ walk away on the Jubilee and Northern lines and served by national rail. There is no dedicated visitor parking at The Shard, and the venue sits within the Congestion Charge and ULEZ zones, so public transport is recommended. There is public car parking space NCP Carpark behind Guy’s Hospital (opposite The Shard building, SE1 3RU).

How do I find the entrance to Aqua Shard?

Enter through the revolving doors for the restaurants at level 32, beside the Shangri-La Hotel entrance, not the View from The Shard visitor entrance. From there, take the lift or stairs down one level to level 31.

Do I need to book, or can I walk in?

Reservations are recommended, especially for dinner, weekend brunch and afternoon tea, which regularly sell out. Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability, and the atrium bar takes small number of reservations, the rest is on walk-in basis only.

How much is afternoon tea at Aqua Shard?

Aqua Shard serves its signature Peter Pan themed Afternoon Tea daily, from £70 per person and £48 for children up to 12. A Champagne afternoon tea is available from £90 per person, with classic, vegetarian, vegan and pescatarian menus.

Can I visit just for drinks?

Yes. The three-storey atrium bar welcomes walk-ins for cocktails and drinks with no reservation, open from 11:30am until late, ideal for sunset drinks over the London skyline. Small number of reservations are available, if preferred. Kindly note the bar has age restrictions after 5pm ( last entry ) – over 18 only.

What is Aqua Shard's cancellation policy?

Card details are required to secure a booking. A charge applies for no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours: £35 per person for afternoon tea, lunch, brunch and £50 per person for dinner.
